CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap

CODE documentary exposes the dearth of American female and minority software engineers and explores the reasons for this gender gap and digital divide. The film highlights breakthrough efforts that are producing more diverse programmers and shows how this critical gap can be closed. CODE asks: what would society gain from having more women and minorities code and how do we get there? 

The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion with NDSU faculty members and a student leader who are committed to increasing gender diversity in tech fields.

Learn about three big initiatives on campus that contribute to student success in face-to-face and virtual classroom environments and through positive academic and career advising experiences.

TechXploration Resource Fair

Students, faculty and staff are invited to explore and discover campus technologies that can enhance their NDSU experience. Highlights include a drone demo, augmented reality sand table, GoPro cameras, virtual reality online gaming, and more!
