Comprehensive Fitness Assessment
The Wellness Center provides a comprehensive fitness assessment using the Bod Pod and anthropometric measurements. The assessment will give a baseline of your current fitness level and/or determine health and fitness improvements over time. The fitness evaluation includes tests to determine resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and power.
Fitness assessments are required for all new personal training clients to aid trainers in designing a safe, effect, and individualized fitness program that will help you meet your health and fitness goals.
**Fitness assessments are also available as a stand-alone service.
BOD POD® GOLD STANDARD Body Composition
The most accurate way to determine your body composition (fat mass/lean mass). This safe, non-invasive method requires that you wear a bathing suit or spandex clothing. You will also get results for your resting metabolic rate (RMR) and total energy expenditure (TEE) to help you determine how many calories you need to consume each day.
