Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning Workshop
NDSU Bison Strides is hosting a PATH International Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certification workshop and horsemanship skills test May 13-16 on the NDSU campus.
Topics include:
- How to design safe and effective equine interventions
- Understanding mental health and learning challenges
- Assessing horse responses during sessions
The workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15. Individual horsemanship skills tests will take place on Thursday, May 16.
The cost is $650 for the three-day workshop and $250 for the horsemanship skills test. Discounts are available for Bison Strides volunteers and NDSU students.
