4-H Decision Making Contest
Registration for this contest is due June 6. More information is available in the 2024 4-H TIPS Book.
Ages for this contest are
Beginners (8-9 yrs before September 1 of current 4-H year)
Juniors (10-13 yrs before September 1 and up to age 13 as of December 31 of the current 4-H year)
Seniors (14-18 yrs as of December 31 of the current 4-H year)
Participants will evaluate six classes with one of them being a reasons class. Each class will contain four similar articles (example: four jeans or fast food, etc.) with characteristics that vary. The articles will be numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 for identification purposes. A brief situation will accompany each class. The situation is a short descriptive paragraph that includes standards, specific conditions and important information. The class is placed according to the standards.
Ransom County 4-H Dress Code is REQUIRED.
