I have installed some new features for the TYPO3 login page. A summary follows.
- Pop-up checking
- Some have discovered that forgetting to allow pop-ups before using TYPO3 can have consequences of losing work. Now, a message is displayed if your browser does not allow pop-ups BEFORE you even log in to TYPO3 and have a chance to lose work.
- As a result, you may notice a small browser window open and close very quickly when you go to the TYPO3 login page. If this window does _not_ close, please let me know.
- MagpieRSS news feed
- MagpieRSS is, according to its README file, "an XML-based RSS parser in PHP." All it does is take the CMS news feed (RSS) and show it on the page. The page display now includes a handy NEW icon when a message is less than 10 days old. This should help bring your attention to new news!
