Campus Emergency Notification Systems (CENS)
NDSU uses a number of redundant emergency notification systems that comprise NDSU CENS. These methods of communication include the NDSU-CAMPUS-ALERT@LISTSERV for official email notification to all current students and employees, communications sent through the NOTIFIND system to registered cellphone and/or landline phones, NDSU telephone voice mail broadcast to the AURA phone system, and an emergency alert system for audio and video interruption of available on-campus analog cable television service.

Students can subscribe their personal phones using Campus Connection. Staff and faculty office phones are automatically subscribed. Faculty and staff can update their contact information through PeopleSoft HRMS self-service in the Personal Information section. If faculty and staff don't have access to PeopleSoft HRMS, they should update their information by contacting the NDSU HR/Payroll office at (701) 231-8961 or email@example.com.
