- David J. Stordalen, BS ’92 instrument and vocal music education, writes that “My brass quintet has been awarded the 2022 Edvard Grieg Society of the Dakotas grant. The grant will fund recital performances of Grieg’s music arranged for brass quintet in the region. Craig Brenden, second trumpet, is also a 1992 graduate of NDSU.”
- Damon Hage, 27, BS ’17 computer science, was employed by CoreLink in Fargo as a software developer. He lived in Colfax, North Dakota.
- Richard Behling, 75, PhD ’75 chemistry, had a long career in pharmaceuticals, retiring from Amgen in Thousand Oaks, California, in 2005. He lived in Broomfield, Colorado.
- Harlen Hendrickson, 79, BS ’65 pharmacy, was a pharmacist, working primarily in Portland, Oregon, at Kaiser Permanente. He lived in Portland.
- Eddie Kopperud, 91, BS ’53 agricultural engineering, was a lawyer who practiced in Grafton, North Dakota. He also owned and operated a regional International Harvester dealership and a Chevrolet-Oldsmobile dealership. He was an Air Force veteran who lived in Denver.
- Lyle Klostermeyer, 76, MS ’74 entomology, was an assistant professor of entomology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville from 1978-1985. He later worked for Weaver Exterminating Service in Walla Walla, Washington, and in 1990, he started Lyle's Pest Control in Prosser, Washington. He was an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He lived in Moscow, Idaho.
- Robert Hansen, 75, BS ’69 German, was sales manager and vice president at Ed Phillips and Sons until the company was acquired by Johnson Brothers, where he retired as president of operations for North Dakota. He was an Army platoon leader in Viet Nam with the 101st Airborne division and had tours of duty in Germany and Fort Jackson. He lived in Fargo.
- Keith Everson, 71, BS ’72 economics, worked in Denver for a number of years before returning to North Dakota, where he worked on drilling rigs in the oilfields. He lived in Glendale, Arizona.
- Twila (Gilje) Grunseth, 76, BS’ 67 home economics education, was a teacher on Northwood and Mandan, North Dakota. She later was a bookkeeper at Dental Associates in Mandan. She lived in Mandan.
- Gerd “Carol” (Nord) Johnson, 83, BS ’61 mathematics, worked for Boeing Co. in Seattle and Rand Corp. in California. She was a Scandinavian dance enthusiast. She lived in Manhattan Beach, California.
