Class Notes

 


  • Wilson Ronno, MS ’85 agronomy, is a crops officer and agronomist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya. He has developed several dry bean varieties, and he earned his doctorate in crop science at the University of Nairobi. He previously was director of research at the Tea Research Foundation of Kenya.
  • Kevin Folman, BS ’17 mathematics education, was signed by the Chicago White Sox organization. He previously was pitching for the Sioux Falls Canaries in the American Association.
  • Capt. Matthew Heil, BS ’08 mechanical engineering, was named the 2018 Active Military Person of the Year by the American Legion, Department of Indiana. He is Operations Flight Commander of the Air Force ROTC Detachment 215 at Indiana University in Bloomington. He previously was a NATO executive officer for the brigadier general in charge of the Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan. 
  • Sean Thomas Kolodziej, BS ’15 finance, is a global and project manager for ALDI in Dusseldorf, Germany.
  • Daniel Gunderson, BS ’11 journalism, broadcasting, mass communication, was promoted to sales account executive at Discovery Benefits, Fargo. 
  • Kyle Sorby, BS ’16 marketing, was promoted to sales account executive at Discovery Benefits, Fargo.  
  • Jacob Lueders, BS ’18 marketing, joined Sundog Interactive, Fargo, as an associate insights analyst. He previously worked at Bobcat Company.
  • Kelsey Kraft, BS ’12 psychology, was hired as operations supervisor for benefits by Discovery Benefits, Fargo.
  • Lawrence Alexander, BUS ’15 university studies, signed a contract to play professional basketball in Slovakia. He will play for defending Slovak Basketball League champion BK Levicki Patrioti in Levice, Slovakia, for the 2018-19 season.
  • Nathan Host, BS ’09 construction engineering, was named public works director for  North Mankato, Minnesota. He previously was an assistant project manager for M.A. Mortenson construction company of Minneapolis.
