  • Jolynn Lysne, 68, BS ’76 pharmacy, was a pharmacist for 45 years. She was a member of the Department of Surgery and the Nutrition Support Service at University of Minnesota Hospitals. She later moved to California and worked at many hospitals, including, most recently, Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach Hospital. She lived in Tustin, California.
  • Harlyn Thompson, 87, BArch ’56 architecture, was an architect in England and Pennsylvania, before teaching at The Queen’s University, Belfast, Northern Ireland; NDSU, Kent State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology and University of Manitoba. He lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
  • Roger Sathre, 75, BS ’69 mechanical engineering, was an electrical engineer working on mainframe computers for Control Data, Amdahl Corporation and Hitachi. He lived in Saddlebrooke, Arizona.
  • Rodger Ness, 86, BS ’57 electrical and electronic engineering, had a 34-year career with Unisys as a computer engineer building mainframe and navigation systems. He lived in St. Paul, Minnesota.
  • Robert E. Block, 87, BS ’58 general agriculture, MS ’59 educational administration, had a 36-year career in public education, and later headed the rural initiative in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, to improve delivery of emergency services. He then served as an Otter Tail County Commissioner for eight years. He lived in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
  • David Saxowsky, 66, BS ’76, MS ’83 agricultural economics, taught at NDSU for more than 39 years before retiring in 2019. He also taught classes at the University of North Dakota School of Law. He lived in West Fargo.
  • Barbara (Satovich) Beyer, 80, BS ’62 home economics education, co-owned Beyer Body Shop and Towing with her husband that was first located in Benson, Minnesota, and then moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The couple retired in 2017. She lived in Fergus Falls.
  • Brenda (Hobbs) Potter, 56, BS ’88 athletic training, first worked for Red River Valley Sports Medicine and then joined American Gold Gymnastics in 1992. She lived in Moorhead, Minnesota.
  • Jerald Kaseman, 76, BS ’67 English, taught American and British literature in Wishek, North Dakota, and Wasco, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, California. He was named Teacher of the Year and was runner-up for Orange County's California League of High Schools Outstanding Educator Award. He lived in Laguna Niguel, California.
  • Dennis Eggen, 82, BS ’64 general agriculture, was a branch manager for the Social Security Administration. He lived in Alexandria, Minnesota.
