  • Tyra Payer, BS ’17 psychology, joined the Bush Foundation, St. Paul, Minnesota, as the organization’s communications associate.
  • Samantha Jo Archer, MA ’19 speech communication, has started a new business with her husband called Archer Greens in Moorhead. The company uses vertical garden concepts to raise healthful microgreens such as tiny broccoli, radishes, kale, arugula and kohlrabi.
  • Kayla Sorenson, BS ’16 nursing, DNP ’21, advanced nursing practice, joined the Essentia Health team in Fargo as a pediatric hospitalist. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Alexis Johanson, BS ’18 zoology, joined Prolific Property Management as resident relations manager.
  • Nicholas Evin, BS ’17 accounting, was promoted to audit supervisor at Widmer Roel, a public accounting and business advisory firm in Fargo.
  • Hannah Kogler, BS ’16 management communication, was promoted to senior marketing specialist at Town and Country Credit Union. She will assist with marketing campaigns, coordinate events and manage charitable giving for the credit union’s Fargo and West Fargo locations.
  • Troy Steele, BS ’18 accounting, MS ’19, accountancy, was promoted to senior tax associate at Widmer Roel, a public accounting and business advisory firm n Fargo.
  • Mark Sorenson, BS ’19 finance, received the Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM designation from the College of Financial Planning. He is part of Legacy Financial Partners, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc.
  • Kevin Fellbaum, BS ’11 civil engineering, was named director of the Parks and Trails Department for Otter Tail County in Minnesota. He previously was the county’s engineer/county ditch inspector.
  • Jackson Gleason, BS ’18 mechanical engineering, joined Hagie Manufacturing in Clarion, Iowa, as an electrical test engineer. He previously worked at John Deere in Des Moines, Iowa.
