  • Lindsay Maddock, BS ’10 animal science, received the Distinguished Service award at the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals conference in Memphis, Tennessee. Maddock is the Wells County Extension agent for agriculture and natural resources.
  • Elliot Leinen, BS ’17, MBA ’19 business administration, was named associate director of decision support for Trinity Health of Minot, North Dakota. He has worked at Trinity for a little more than a year as an administrative resident.
  • Jonathan Okstad, BS’13 sociology, received the President’s Medallion from Loyola University Chicago. He is a graduate research assistant and a doctoral education student at the university. The prestigious award is presented to a student who ranks academically in the upper 25% of their class; exemplifies outstanding scholarship, leadership and service; and serves others through involvement in student organizations or volunteering in the community.
  • Kristopher David Hudson, BS’ 13 mathematics, recently passed the CPCU 530: Navigating the Legal Landscape of Insurance exam. CPCU is a property casualty underwriting designation administered by The Institutes: Risk Management and Consulting Group.
  • John Olhoft, BS ’17 agricultural and biosystems engineering, is president of Fargo’s LulzBot and its parent company, FAME 3D, a 3D printing company.
  • Noah Poss, BS ’18 criminal justice, joined O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Attorneys in Fargo. He focuses his practice on real estate law and business law.
  • Erik Moltzan, BS ’19 electrical and electronic engineering, accepted the position of electrical engineer at American Crystal Sugar Co.
  • Joshua Krank, BS ’17 microbiology, is an associate attorney at SW&L. He focuses on corporate and business law, including planning, contracts and property law.
  • Tessa Hand, BS ’14 nursing, is an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse midwife specializing in obstetrics at Essentia Health-Fargo.
  • Lacy Wulfekuhle, BS ’14 animal science, was named the agriculture and natural resources NDSU Extension agent for Richland Country.
