  • Andy Junglen, BS ’19 agricultural and biosystems engineering, is a design engineer at RJ Mechanical, Mora, Minnesota. He says a highlight has been to successfully implement an engineering software called Pypeserver on the company’s CAM equipment. The company is the first contractor in the country to implement the technology on a certain piece of equipment. He also built a successful design-to-fabrication-to-installation workflow at the company.
  • Brooke LeMar, BS ’14 sport management, was named an assistant basketball coach for the University of Mary, Bismarck, North Dakota. She previously played professional basketball in Denmark, Germany, Australia and Sweden and was the director of player development at California Baptist University.
  • Logan Dahlgren, BS ’15 accounting, joined Enclave, Fargo, as a senior accountant. He previously was an accounting specialist at East Shore Garment Co., Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
  • Kira Schumaker, BS ’14 finance, joined Sterling Management LLC as a financial accountant.
  • Kyle Emanuel, BS ’14 construction management, signed with the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. He had earlier played in 63 games with the Los Angeles Chargers, but sat out the 2019 season before deciding to return.
  • Dain Sullivan, BS ’11 journalism, joined Gate City Bank, Fargo, as a senior content strategist.
  • Danielle Nygren, BS ’13 civil engineering, was selected by Zweig Group as a 2020 Rising Star in multidiscipline engineering. She works at Westwood Professional Services Inc., Minnetonka, Minnesota, and leads project’s for the firm’s top wind client. The honor recognizes professionals 40 years old or younger who demonstration exception technical capability, leadership skills, effective teaching or research and public service.
  • Martin Henry Peterson, BS ’14 agricultural economics, was elected alumni board president for Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and started a new job with Red River State Bank, Fertile, Minnesota, as an agricultural and commercial loan officer.
  • Josh Vaughan, BS ’10 sport and recreation studies, joined the basketball coaching staff at Northern State University, Aberdeen, South Dakota. He had been the basketball coach at Dickinson State University.
  • Katelyn Krabbenhoft, BS ’17 philosophy, psychology, began a one-year clerkship with the North Dakota Supreme Court on Aug. 3. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in May.
