  • Ilhan Omar, BS ’11, political science, international studies, is the nation’s first Somali-American legislator after winning election to the Minnesota House of Representatives. She represents House District 60B, which includes parts of the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, southeast Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota. December 2016
  • Troy Wambach, BUS ’10, university studies, joined Discovery Benefits as an application developer. December 2016
  • Anders Gylland, BS ’14, sport management, joined Discovery Benefits as an account manager.  December 2016
  • Heidi Duncan BS ’13, human development and family science, received a certificate of completion from the Department of Human Services as a certified direct support professional. She works at the North Dakota Autism Center. December 2016
  • Grant Hermanson, BS ’14, accounting, MACC ’15, accountancy, is the finance director for the Boys and Girls Club of the Red River Valley. December 2016
  • Suyi Hou, BS ’12, civil engineering, is an engineer in training at Sandman Structural Engineers, Moorhead, Minnesota. December 2016
  • Jessica Schneider, BS ’16, animal science, joined Vison Bank as a customer service representative. She has past experience as a cashier supervisor and assistant instructor. December 2016
  • Brian Samuelson, BS ’16, biochemistry and molecular biology, joined Aldevron, Fargo, as a bio-manufacturing operator. December 2016
  • Matthew Krusen, BS ’13, microbiology, joined Aldevron, Fargo, as a client relations coordinator. December 2016
  • Chandra Langseth, BS ’13, biological sciences, MS ’16, social science, joined the NDSU Extension Service office in Richland County as the agriculture and natural resources agent. December 2016
