  • Carol (Westermann) Schwarting, 90, Diploma '46 Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing, worked at West Seattle Hospital and Bremerton, Washington, Hospital before returning to North Dakota to work at Bismarck Evangelical Hospital. She and her husband then moved to the family farm. She lived in New Salem, North Dakota.
  • Keith Stowman, 56, BS '90 computer science, was a software programmer for ImageWare Systems Inc. in San Diego from 1990 to 2014. He continued to work for the company after he returned to North Dakota. He lived in Valley City, North Dakota. 
  • Keith Flygare, 71, MS '74 educational administration, taught in West Fargo for seven years. He later moved to Minot and was a board member of the Behm Family Corporation. He was active in the North Dakota Propane Gas Association. He later moved to Billings, Montana, where he co-founded Big Sky Petroleum. He lived in Florence, Arizona.
  • Amanda (Thieschafer) Smock, BS '05 human performance and fitness, won her fourth consecutive indoor national title in the triple jump at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships in Boston. It was Smock‚Äôs seventh American title in the triple jump. Along with the 2012, 2013 and 2014 indoor crowns, she won the outdoor championship in 2011, 2012 and 2014. She was the only American woman to represent the United States in the triple jump at the 2012 London Games.
