Swipe Out Hunger

Swipe Out Hunger is a national program designed for students experiencing temporary food shortages.

If you are a student experiencing a recent and unexpected financial hardship, you may apply for dining center meals to be added to your NDSU student ID card. Your application will be reviewed. If approved, these meal swipes can be used at any of NDSU’s three dining centers by swiping their card at the check in counter.

This program is provided by the NDSU Food Insecurity Task Force through donations to the NDSU Food Security Fund.

A member of the Dean of Students Office will be in contact with each applicant and assist the student to develop long-term solutions if needed.

Please note: Due to the irregular hours of the dining centers over the summer, we do not accept any meal swipe requests from May-August.
