•       Virology: MICR 475/675 (3 credits, Fall Semesters)

 This undergraduate/ graduate level course covers the basics of virology, viral pathogenesis and diseases.

•       Critical Thinking for the Life Sciences: MICR 767 (3 credits, Fall Semesters)

This graduate level course provides experiential learning on topics related to critical thinking such as information retrieval, the scientific method, experimental design and common logical fallacies. Topics covered are integrated into critically reviewing and writing manuscripts and grants

•       Foundations in Microbiology: MICR 801 and 802 (4 credits, Spring and Fall Semesters)

 Team teach modules on the philosophy of science, information flow and viral evolution

•       Capstone experience in Microbiology: MICR 486 (3 credits, Spring and Fall Semesters)

Experiential learning course for undergraduate students to design and execute a research project, write a short paper and poster
