Ectypia clio (Packard 1864)

Common name: Clio tiger moth.

Hodges #: 8249.

Identification: Rfw 21.5 mm; black streaks on white ground color unique.

Similar species: none.

Distribution: western United State and southwestern Canada southward to central Mexico. 

Hosts: larvae feed on Asclepias-- milkweeds and Apocynum-- dogbane.
