Dasychira grisefacta (Dyar 1911)

Common name: listed here as ‘Grizzled tussock moth.’

Hodges #: 8306.

Identification: Rfw 19.2 mm, fw with post median line dentate near costal margin, ground color shades of gray not brown, ocelli and proboscis absent.

Similar species: 8294, 8316, 8318.

Distribution: western temperate North America.

Hosts: Larvae on Pinus ponderosa Laws.– Ponderosa pine.
