Steve Stenehjem is the Chairman of Watford City Bancshares, Inc. and CEO of First International Bank & Trust, a $2.5 billion dollar multi state banking company with twenty-seven offices located in North Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona.  First International Bank &Trust is headquartered in Watford City, North Dakota and currently employs 619 employees.

Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Economics in 1977 from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

He is serving or has served on various boards, which include Investors Real Estate Trust, Regents of Concordia College, and the Watford City Community Benefit Association. Steve is a member of the Watford City Rotary Club and Masonic Fort Union Lodge #128.

Steve and his wife, Gretchen have four children, Peter, Erik, Kira and Kristen.  Steve enjoys bird hunting, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
