Professors Kroll and Denton, along with the Lab Technician, Paul Omernik, led a discussion pertaining to the behavior of waves and particles.  The two one-hour sessions used Java applets for visuals, a short video, a helium-neon laser and a set of single, double, and many slits, and the Physics Department's recently-acquired Two Slit Interference, One Photon at a Time apparatus.  About 20 of the 2010 State Science and Engineering Fair participants attended our two sessions.
