Administrative Positions

Summer Marketing Assistant | Apps open March 28 - April 22, 2024 
This position's primary responsibilities will include social media for Residence Life and Dining, plus assistance with summer orientation resource fairs. 

Student Leadership Administrative Support | Apps open March 12 - April 5, 2024
This position will report to the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and provide support in regards to event planning, student leadership/hall government and supporting department collaborations. Position is April 2024-October 2024, with the potential for continuation.

Summer Positions

Summer Resident Assistant (RA) | Closed
Summer Resident Assistants work with the Hall Director as a collaborative team to maintain a positive living/learning environment for summer school students, and a welcoming atmosphere for summer guests. 

Senior Summer Resident Assistant | Closed
In addition to the Summer RA responsibilities, this position will also serve in a leadership role and will assist the Hall Director with a variety of administrative tasks related to summer student and conference housing.

Conference Team Member (CTM)  | Closed
Thirteen Conference Team Members are hired per summer to live on campus from mid-May to mid-August, and serve as administrators and main customer service representatives for the more than 7,000 participants who attend athletic camps, academic programs and workshops on the NDSU campus. 

Conference Administrative Assistant (CAA)  | Closed
Two Conference Administrative Assistants are hired per summer to live on campus from mid-May to mid-August, and help coordinate and host more than 7000 participants who attend athletic camps, academic programs and workshops on the NDSU campus. CAAs are the behind-the-scenes masters of conference coordination; they organize placement, billing, Conference Team Member scheduling and more. 

Marketing Positions

Student Graphic Designer | Closed
NDSU Dining and the Department of Residence Life are looking for a highly creative, self-motivated student to join our team as a student graphic designer. Our ideal candidate is confident in graphic design and works comfortably in Adobe Creative Suite Programs. 

Social Media & Marketing Student | Closed
NDSU Dining and the Department of Residence Life is looking for a social media and marketing student team member who is highly creative and detail orientated. This student will work in coordination with the Dining and Residence Life marketing team to manage all social media channels and assist with all summer marketing activities.

Academic Year Positions 

2024-2025 Resident Assistants (RAs) | Apps Closed
The heart of the RA job is creating positive relationships and experiences for the students living in our halls - that includes YOU! RAs care for residents by helping create connections, offering resources and support, and engaging in hall and campus activities. RAs facilitate a positive community by assisting students in creating their experience, while providing 20 hours a week of active and available time. 

2024-2025 Complex Managers (CMs) | Apps Closed
Complex Managers are students employed by the Department of Residence Life whose role is to facilitate a positive living/learning community in the NDSU Apartments, and to serve as a primary resource and source of support for tenants. Being a Complex Manager is a great way to meet new people, have a positive influence on others, and build leadership skills. 

2024-2025 Assistant to the Hall Director (AHD) | Apps Closed
The Assistant to the Hall Director (AHD) position is designed for students who have previous experience as a Resident Assistant and want to expand their experience in Residence Life. The AHD provides direct support and assistance to the Hall Director with administrative responsibilities, staff supervision and development, and other individualized experiences. The AHD position is considered to be approximately a 20-hour-per-week position. The AHD position would be ideal for students who are interested in continuing their education and experiences for a future career in student affairs.
