Dr. Erin Beyer is originally from Brookshire, TX and became interested in agriculture through extensive experience with the FFA. She received her first two degrees from Texas Tech University where she was introduced to meat science and meat judging. She has been involved with the meat judging programs at Texas Tech University and Kansas State University since 2015. She has researched a vast number of topics under the meat quality umbrella and has plans to continue in this direction at North Dakota State University. In her spare time, she enjoys climbing mountains, walking her dogs, and training for marathons.
