Bolley Agricultural Laboratory is a state-of-the-art research facility at NDSU designed to advance agricultural innovation and support North Dakota producers through hands-on, field-to-furrow research. Named in honor of pioneering NDSU plant pathologist Henry L. Bolley, the approximately 170,000-square-foot complex includes specialized laboratories, research support spaces and nearly 30,000 square feet of greenhouse facilities. The laboratory supports research in plant pathology, plant breeding, weed science, agronomy, soil science and horticulture while providing advanced infrastructure such as seed drying and processing areas, cooler and storage spaces for research materials and modern greenhouse environments. Located near active research plots, Bolley Agricultural Laboratory strengthens NDSU’s land-grant mission by supporting cutting-edge agricultural discovery, collaboration and education.
