CHAPS Benchmarks

The 2022 CHAPS benchmarks are calculated from data derived from 52,313 cows
exposed to bulls from 2017 to 2021. CHAPS-selected herds had a minimum of 50
cows and three years of data submitted to the program; yearly averages were
calculated from the selected herds. The 2022 benchmarks were calculated as an
average of the previous five yearly values (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) for
each reproduction or production trait.
