Today our very own Jessica, Associate Professor in and Head of our Department, was awarded the longest standing, most prestigious emergency management higher education award—the Dr. B. Wayne Blanchard Award for Academic Excellence in emergency management for her program, local, regional and national efforts to shape the field. Previous recipients included Drabek, Rubin, McEntire, Lindell, Mileti, Phillips and others—some of the greats who got emergency management in higher education started. Dr. Blanchard was there to present the award to her. Congratulations, Jessica!
