We could not be more delighted to announce that Dr. Caroline Hackerott will join DEMNDSU as an Assistant Professor this fall!

Dr. Hackerott has decades of disaster experience from working with the Red Cross and other organizations. She was even involved as a member of the Governor’s team in the response to the Oklahoma City Bombing!

She’s been at Arkansas Tech University in their Department of Emergency Management teaching undergraduate and graduate courses these past few years. She shares our enthusiasm for pedagogy and assessment in EM higher education.

Her PhD is in Fire and Emergency Management Administration from Oklahoma State University.
