Wedding Tuxedo

Wedding tuxedo in black wool. Jacket has satin lapel. 3 buttons on both sides of front, but no button holes. Button holes on the inside of facing. Vest is made black satin, has woven pattern. 4 silver buttons close. Shirt is made of white cotton. A dickey covers front of shirt. Heavily starched. Has 3 decorative buttons to close. Detachable collar is white, also heavily starched. Pants are black wool. Have decorative braid down outside seam. Button fly.

Worn by Kay's father Max Dahl for his wedding to Eleanor Reed in 1925.
