Academic Leaders Series

The Academic Leaders Series grew out of the Academic Administrator Workshops that were developed out of the ADVANCE FORWARD institutional tranformation project. The original workshop series was designed for academic deans and chairs/heads at NDSU and consisted of half-day sessions on issues of gender awareness and Training Our Campuses Against Racism (TOCAR) program.

The Academic Leaders Series has been broadened in both participants and content, and is designed to help develop leadership, communication, and conflict management skills of academic administrators and aspiring leaders. The program is for academic unit leaders including department heads and chairs, program and center directors, assistant and associate deans, assistant, associate, and vice chairs, and emerging faculty leaders.

More information on the Academic Leaders Series and workshops is available on the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Equity website.
