listed here as Rocky mountain W-marked cutworm.
Hodges #: 10927.1. Identification: Rfw 18 mm, frons smooth, fw ground color gray with black markings and scattered white scales, scales lustrous; pro-tibia with complete row of mesal and lateral setae. Ventral abdomen of && with two large foveae. Similar species: 10705, 10731, 10906, 10923, 10926, 10973, 11004 and 11006. Distribution: Western Canada and United States, eastward to the western edge of the Great Plains. Hosts: incompletely known due
to confusion with other species prior to Lafontaine (1998). Has been
reported from Erigonium spp.-- buckwheat (Crumb 1956). |
