Identification: Rfw 14.1 mm, fws narrower than hws; fw discal
cell black before and between ordinary spots; transverse lines even, white
filled. Ptagiae black, vertex and tegulae gray. Frons smooth.
Meta tarsi with three rows of setae.

Distribution: Transcontinental, central Canada and northern United
States, southward in the Rockies to Colorado.
Hosts: Larval host plants are unknown. In ND, adults fly in
August and September.
Note: Listed in Hodges (1981) as Xestia collaris (Grote &
Robinson). Agrotis collaris Grote & Robinson 1868, is a
primary homonym of Agrotis collaris Wallengren 1856.
