Pelochrista argenteana (Walsingham 1895)

Common name: listed here as ‘Silver-lined clay.’

Hodges #: 3149.

Identification: Rfw 9.0 mm, fw clay brown with metallic silver streaks and black terminal line;  proboscis lacking scales, % with a coastal fold at base of fw.

Similar species: 2973, 3014, 3035.

Distribution: western Great Plains, the Dakotas, Montana and Colorado.

Hosts: Unknown.
