Adults

  • Dorsal carina cut by one sulcus.
  • Hindwing red, orange, or yellow with a black band.
  • Abdomen of male yellow, of female brown to black.
  • Inner face of hind femur black, crossed by two pale bands.
  • Appear in Spring and early Summer.
Nymphs
  • Dorsal carina cut by one sulcus.
  • Inner face of hind femur black, crossed by two pale bands.
  • Appear from late Summer through very early Spring.
