Adults

  • Antennae of male thickened.
  • Elongate-rectangular foveola visible from above.
  • Lateral carinae weakly constricted at mid-length.
  • Abdominal tergites banded with black and green.
  • Abdominal sternites yellow.
  • Tegmen of male oval and fenestrate.
  • Tegmen of female about ½ length of abdomen.
  • Hind femur unbanded, knees black.
  • Hind tibia yellow to (rarely) orange.
Nymphs
  • Elongate-rectangular foveola distinctive for late spring and summer nymphs.
  • Face without vertical stripe pattern.
