Cucullia speyeri Lintner 1874

Common name: listed here as ‘Speyer’s hooded-owlet.

Hodges #: 10190.

Identification: Rfw 21.3 mm, fw blue-gray, without dark areas near tornal angle defining pm line, hw white with fuscous border. See Cucullia key.

Similar species: 10194, 10197, 10198, 10200, 10201, and 10202.

Distribution: southern Canada, northern United States, south on plains to Kansas.

Hosts: unknown.
