Yponomeuta multipunctella Clemens 1860

Common name: American ermine moth.

Hodges #: 2420.

Identification: Rfw 9.17 mm, fw with accessory cell, proboscis without scales.

Similar species: 200, 999.

Distribution: U. S. east of Great Plains, more common southward.

Hosts: larvae construct communal webs in Euonymus atropurpurea Jocq.– Wahoo (on map) and Vibernum– Nannyberry/ highbush cranberry.
