Cresphontes Stål, 1868: 513-514. (barren genus)

Type Species: Cresphontes nigromaculatus Haglund, 1868 (= Rhaphigaster monsoni Westwood, 1837), by subsequent monotypy.

Included Species:

fulvus Azim & Shafee
monsoni (Westwood)
rufescens Breddin

Tribal Placement: StDl (1876) included Cresphontes in his grouping "Menida et affinia."
