Type Species: Delegorguella elliptica Spinola, 1850, by monotypy.

     ellipticus (Stål, 1853) [junior synonym] - Image of ST

lauta (Stål, 1861) - Image of ST
pallida (Dallas, 1851)
phalerata (Stål, 1853) - Image of LT

Tribal Placement:

Comments: StDl (1853) proposed Paramecocoris as a replacement name for Paramecus Fieber, 1851. As such, Paramecocoris must take the same type species as Paramecus. StDl later confused the situation by using both Paramecus and Paramecocoris as valid genera. Essentially, his later concept of Paramecocoris was the same as modern day Delegorguella which he was not familiar with (StDl, 1876).
