4-H State Shotgun Invitational

Registration

Registration for the shoot is live on 4-H Online. You will need to indicate the county youth will represent and events. Your times will be assigned and sent to you in advance. Relays will begin at 9:00am.

Eligibility

Shotgun will be open to all junior and senior participants (11 and older as of December 31, 2024). Youth may shoot up in the senior division if they will be old enough (14) by the date to be eligible the national competition. Participants must be enrolled 4-H members and have passed North Dakota Hunter Education.

Payment

Match fee for three match events $80 or a single event is flat fee of $40. Payments can be made on 4-H Online. No registration after July 28.

Location and Event Info

All match events will follow the North Dakota 4-H State Match Rules. All events will be held at Capital City Sporting Clays Range near Menoken, ND on Saturday August 9th. Seniors will shoot 100 trap targets, 50 sporting clays and 50 skeet targets. Juniors will shoot 100 trap targets, 50 skeet targets and 50 sporting clays. You may opt to only participate in the trap event. Scoring mirrors, the system used at the 4-H National Championships.
