🚀 Get Beyond Ready with NDSU Extension 4-H! (Cavalier Location)
Step into an evening packed with fresh ideas and fun strategies to spark learning for every 4-H member. Whether you’re a teen leader, 4-H volunteer, parent, or Extension professional, you’ll build skills, gather resources, and leave inspired to take youth to infinity and Beyond Ready!

General Session

Beyond Ready: Equipping Volunteers, Empowering Youth

Each session will equip you to engage with our youth, helping them thrive and find their spark. Together, we can ensure our 4-H youth are truly Beyond Ready for life and work.

Session 1

(Participants choose one workshop for each session)

• Off to the Races: Opportunities that Make Older 4-H Youth Beyond Ready for Life and Work
  • Retaining older 4-H youth, ages 13 to 18, can be challenging. Join this session to learn about fun and engaging national, state, and local opportunities to keep these older youth involved as they become changemakers.
• Beyond the Buzzword: Exploring AI
  • Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the world youth are growing up in. Youth who can use AI critically and carefully are Beyond Ready for tomorrow’s opportunities. Volunteers will use unplugged activities to help youth explore what AI is, recognizing its power and pitfalls.

Session 2

(Participants choose one workshop for each session)

• Dollars & Sense
  • Money matters for thriving youth and thriving clubs. Bring your tax questions and get ready to set money management goals that fuel opportunities that give youth the confidence to be Beyond Ready to grow and lead.
• Ready for Tomorrow: Mental Health Matters
  • Strong mental health makes youth Beyond Ready to grow, lead, and achieve their goals. This session will equip volunteers with fun, simple, and effective ways to encourage positive well-being in young people.

Pack your best ideas, curriculum, lesson plans, and activities for the Share Fair and share them with other 4-H leaders. Your resources could be the spark that equips youth across our state.
