It's Their World Book Study for Continuing Education Credit

This book explores critical topics such as: Sexting, Cyberbullying, Online pornography, Monitoring and setting boundaries, and Teen mental health. Inside, you will gain practical strategies for managing screen time that align with your teen’s natural sensitivity to rewards and distractions. Learn how stress impacts both you and your teen, with tools to better support one another through emotional ups and downs. Encourage your teen’s growing independence while maintaining healthy boundaries that build trust and respect. By the end of It’s Their World, you’ll feel more confident in your parenting approach, supported by science-backed knowledge and practical advice. This book helps you not just survive the teenage years but truly thrive alongside your teen—building a relationship grounded in mutual respect, understanding, and lifelong connection. It’s Their World is a 2026 Minnesota Book Award Finalist in General Nonfiction. This is an asynchronous version of this book study facilitated through NDSU Continued Learning and the Blackboard platform. There is a charge for the course as participants will receive 1 credit hour for their participation. Grading is on an A, B, C scale.

Upon completion of the course, participants will get 1 credit hour of continuing education credit from NDSU.
