During National 4-H Week, celebrated October 4 - 10, 2026, local clubs will share how 4-H equips young people with the skills, confidence, and resilience to lead in a world full of opportunity and change. This year, National 4-H Council is asking the 4-H network to activate collectively on two days (Monday, October 5th and Thursday, October 8th). On these days, they will be amplifying content that is shared by states on their National 4-H channels. MONDAY: GO GREEN. Once a 4-H'er, always a 4-H'er. Whether you're a current 4-H member, volunteer, alumni, or supporter, let's paint the nation GREEN! Wear a green hat, clothing, face paint—anything green goes. This year, landmarks across the country will also be lighting up green in support of 4-H! Visit a landmark in your state that’s set to shine green (Go Green Map). Then, share your 'Go Green' moment on social media, using the tags and hashtags below. THURSDAY: THANKFUL THURSDAY. Today, we recognize all the mentors, educators, and volunteers who are making a positive impact on young people's lives in 4-H. Our local clubs will be meeting to create 'thank you' cards for the community. Don't forget to share who you're thankful for and celebrate how they are making a difference!
