Raising the Amazing Generation in an Anxious World
Parents and teens are growing up in the same world — but experiencing it very differently.
Join us for "Raising the Amazing Generation in an Anxious World", a four-session family book study designed to spark meaningful conversations, strengthen relationships, and better understand the pressures facing today’s teens.
Parents will explore The Anxious Generation while teens read The Amazing Generation. Each session includes separate age-group discussions, a shared meal, and intentional time for families to reconnect. No lectures. No perfect families required. Just honest conversations, practical ideas, and time together.
“Raising the Amazing Generation in an Anxious World" will be held July 14, 21, 28 and Aug 4 at 5:30pm in the Extension Office at the County Office Building, 151 S 4th St, Grand Forks. We will meet with parents/caregivers and adolescents from 5:30-6:30pm and a meal will be served at 6:30pm in which caregivers can connect with their children over what was discussed. We recommend children in attendance be between 10-13 years of age.
There is limited space and meals, so please only register if you plan to attend and eat at each session.
Requests for accommodations related to disability should be made to the event contact person at least two weeks in advance of the event.
