Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8 to 21 with a focus on three core pillars:
- FOOD SAFETY,
- ANIMAL WELL-BEING,
- AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
4-H Market animal participants ages 8 to 18 are required to attend a session and become certified.
- It is highly encouraged that all animal participants attend and become certified.
- Cloverbuds may participate however attendance is not mandatory.
