Comments

Thorns should be taken into consideration in locations of use. Leaves are silvery in color with red fruits. Silvery colored foliage adds color and interest during the growing season.

‘Sakakawea’ buffaloberry - This seed strain cultivar was selected for its uniform growth, excellent survival rate and stand establishment, and its good seed production. Very good for conservation plantings. Released by USDA-NRCS, Plant Materials Center, Bismarck, North Dakota.
