2026 Eastern Crop, Pest Identification, and Management School
This school is geared towards undergraduate students and first- to second-year crop scouts.
The program has multiple components with a focus on disease ID, insect ID, herbicide symptomology, and other production problems in wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, dry beans, canola and sunflower. The primary goal of the school is to help prepare individuals to be successful field scouts in North Dakota and Minnesota. Speakers include scientists from NDSU Extension, ND Agricultural Experiment Station and private industry.
Reference materials will be provided and include a binder of relevant resource information. Resource binders can be purchased separately for $60.
