Drainage Water Management Workshop
Presented by North Dakota State University Extension and University of Minnesota Extension
Hosted by: Dr. Laxmi Prasad, Dr. Lindsay Pease, and Tim Gieseke
This one-day, in-person workshop will focus on how subsurface (tile) drainage systems work, the fundamentals of drainage design, and the performance and economic returns of drainage investments. Participants will also learn how soil characteristics influence drainage suitability and the key factors to consider before planning and installing drainage systems.
The workshop offers farmers, landowners, crop consultants, drainage contractors, and conservation professionals an opportunity to exchange knowledge, network, and learn from leading drainage experts in the region.
