All 4-H Ice Cream Making & Info Day | Logan County
Let's learn how to make ice cream! We will start by reviewing some Achievement Day project guidelines in the Golden Age Hall and end with homemade ice cream in the park.
- We will be making small individual servings of ice cream, using the plastic bag method; however, if you would like to try the Kick-A-Can version, bring along two nesting tin cans (with covers) from home. Coffee tins work great! If you have a gentle 4-H'er, you may also opt to bring 2 nesting mason jars that allow enough room for ice between the smaller jar and the larger jar.
- Younger 4-H'ers may want to bring along a pair of mittens to hold the ice cream bag since we'll be adding salt to make it extra cold!
