Professional Biography
Srinadh is an agronomist and applied plant scientist with expertise in field trial design, crop protection, soil and nutrient management, and UAV based phenotyping. His research integrates classical agronomy with modern sensing tools to improve decision making for producers in semi arid regions.
Before joining DREC, he completed his PhD in Agronomy, Horticulture & Plant Science, where he led multi location field experiments, developed disease diagnostic protocols, and applied mixed model statistical approaches (R/SAS) to evaluate genotype × environment interactions and management responses.
At DREC, his work supports NDSU’s mission to deliver locally relevant, producer focused research for western North Dakota. His projects include:
