The Faculty Mentoring Program is offered to new tenure-track faculty at NDSU. This program is sponsored through the Provost’s office and Advance FORWARD with the purpose of orienting new faculty to campus-wide culture and policy. This mentoring program is intended to complement any existing departmental or college mentoring programs. A cohort model with two senior faculty overseeing a cohort of three new faculty is used. Based on feedback from previous years these mentoring relationships are having a positive impact on the experience of new faculty on campus.
