Charlette Moe joined the NDSU Music faculty in the fall of 2008. She serves as the coordinator for the Masters of Music in Music Education degree and is the co-graduate coordinator. Dr. Moe teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in music education, supervises student teachers, conducts cantemus and the University Chamber Singers. In addition, she holds a Kodály Mastery Certificate from St. Thomas, has been the Orff course director at NDSU and was a past faculty member at the Kodály Institute at Minnesota State University. Previous to her appointment at NDSU, she was adjunct faculty at Concordia College and Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Dr. Moe received a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from Concordia College, a Master of Science degree in music education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Doctorate of Music in conducting from NDSU. As a choral teacher and classroom music teacher for over 15 years in the Minnesota Public School System, she taught all grade levels. She was nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year in 1999 and 2004. Her past guest conducting engagements were with International Music Camp and at numerous high school, elementary and middle-level choral festivals in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and New Mexico. She has presented at music conferences in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Michigan. Dr. Moe co-edited the Music of the Americas monograph published by the American Choral Directors Association, adjudicates for numerous vocal solo-ensemble contests in North Dakota and Minnesota, is a member of ACDA, AOSA, and OAKE and has served as the R&S chair for women's literature for NCACDA.
