Nucleus

The nucleus of a cell is made up largely of DNA. Contained in the DNA are not only all the instructions for the functioning of that cell, but a complete set of plans for the entire animal body. The DNA is contained in the diffuse chromatin of the nucleus, which forms into distinct chromosomes when the cell reproduces.
