Student artwork showcased in exhibition

SHARE

Artwork from students in NDSU’s visual arts department is currently on display in the Memorial Union Gallery on the second floor of the Union as part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition.

A reception will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Gallery.

The BFA program at the visual arts department is comprised of a dynamic and multi-faceted curriculum that encourages individual exploration of art practice led by exceptional faculty. The BFA experience is a yearlong investigation into research, media and artistic experimentation.

Traditionally, each year, students exhibit their latest artworks in a gallery. The bodies of artwork installed in this exhibition represent the creative explorations of BFA students from the Fall 2023 semester. This exhibition includes works that explore scientific illustration, AI generated art, ethnic identity, color synethesia and expectations of women. The artwork will be on display until Jan. 25.
