Join us for an exciting event with your future classmates. Admitted Student Days offer an opportunity to take another look at NDSU, get your final questions answered and build excitement for your upcoming semester.

During your visit, you will tour campus, see your assigned residence hall, meet students and professors and learn more about academics, student involvement, scholarships and the next steps in your journey to becoming a Bison. Be sure to register early, as space is limited.

Admitted Student Day is a great opportunity to connect with fellow students and explore all that NDSU has to offer. Please note that this event is not an orientation or course registration session, and attendance is not required. Orientation information can be found here.

Junior Day

Looking to get a head start on your campus visit process? Join us for our Discover NDSU Junior Day to explore everything NDSU has to offer. During your visit, you will tour campus facilities, meet students and professors and learn about academic life, student involvement, scholarships and other opportunities available to NDSU students. Parking will be available at the FargoDome, with check-in located across the street at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex (SHAC).

If you have questions prior to your visit, please call our Office of Admission at 701-231-8643 or email ndsu.visit@ndsu.edu.

If classes are canceled and the University is closed, the program will be canceled as well. You will receive a cancellation notification as soon as possible.

Dress casually for your visit to campus. Comfortable shoes for the tour are recommended, and a jacket or umbrella are helpful in case of rain as much of the tour is outside. Check out today’s weather.

A student-led walking tour of campus includes our state-of-the-art classroom facilities, a residence hall, a dining center and more.

Yes! Parents, guardians or guests are always welcome on campus. When you register for your visit, please indicate how many guests will accompany you to campus.

Yes, each student who is visiting should make their own reservation. Please let us know that you are visiting together at check-in, and we will do our best to put you on the same tour.

Driving Directions

We’re excited you’re planning to visit NDSU. Here are directions to the FargoDome parking lot, where you will park for your visit. See your itinerary for check-in instructions.

  • Follow Interstate 94 to the Interstate 29 interchange.
  • Exit northbound on Interstate 29 (Exit 349).
  • Follow Interstate 29 to the 19th Avenue exit (Exit 67).
  • Turn right. Follow 19th Avenue east past the airport, NDSU's 18th Street entrance and FargoDome to University Drive.
  • Turn right onto University Drive.
  • Proceed one half block and turn right into Fargodome Lot C.
  • Admission staff will be there to greet you and direct you to check-in.

  • Follow Highway 10 into Moorhead as it becomes Center Avenue.
  • Follow Center Avenue across the Red River into Fargo.
  • At 2nd Street in Fargo, turn right, heading north
  • At 1st Avenue, turn left.
  • Follow 1st Avenue to 10th Street North (a one-way street).
  • Turn right onto 10th Street and proceed to 19th Ave. North to the stoplight.
  • Turn left onto 19th Ave. North to the stoplight.
  • Turn left at the stoplight onto University Drive.
  • Proceed one half block and turn right into Fargodome Lot C.
  • Admission staff will be there to greet you and direct you to check-in.
